The successful recruitment of nursing and midwifery candidates from overseas is a lot easier with the two changes made by the UK Nursing and Midwifery council: –

  1. Candidates no longer require a score of 7.0 in the written part of IELTS
  2. Non-EU nurses can work in the UK immediately after qualification.

This move would support our sustainable recruitment plan in attracting talented workforce from our selected source countries.

Our targets are:

  • Nurses and midwives who can hit the ground running and make good impact from their first day
  • Those considering returning to the nursing and midwifery profession
  • Young graduates with minimum of 2 years post qualification work experience.

Candidates must have:

  • A transferable qualification
  • Must pass the IELTS, UKVI or OET
  • Achieve a 95 percent pass on their OSCE examination.
